Cutting an MP3 means keeping one section and discarding the rest. The Music Cutter does this on your device.
Step by step
- Add your MP3.
- Drag the cyan handles, or type exact seconds in Start and End. For example 30 to 60 gives a 30 second clip.
- Press Preview on the track to hear only the selection.
- Add a short fade-out (1 to 2 seconds) so the clip does not end abruptly.
- Choose MP3 and 192 kbps or higher, then export.
Quality notes
MP3 is a lossy format, and exporting MP3 encodes the audio again. If you plan to edit the clip further, export WAV and convert to MP3 at the end.

Can I cut an MP3 without re-encoding?
Not in this tool. It decodes the audio, then encodes MP3 or WAV. Choose WAV if you want no further loss.
How do I make a ringtone?
Cut 20 to 30 seconds, add a short fade-out and export MP3.
